Challands Farm Boarding
Kennels is fully licensed by the Local Authority
and have been taking care of Dogs for over 20
years. The kennels are owned by Yvonne Booth and
together with her staff, undertake the day to
day running of the kennels.
Being set in
the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside,
Challands Farm is on the outskirts of Halam
village, just 3 miles from Southwell and within
easy reach of the major towns of Newark,
Mansfield, Ravenshead, Bulwell, Hucknall
and Nottingham. We are easy
to find situated just off the B6386
between Oxton and Southwell.
Set in 10 acres
it is surrounded by woods and fields, the
kennels are quiet and peaceful, an ideal place
for your pets to spend their holidays. At
Challands Farm your pets are guaranteed the
care and attention that only truly experienced
animal lovers can provide.

The family pets
we look after come in all shapes, sizes and
temperaments so we believe their owners should
have a choice of accomodation that will match
their personal requirements.
As such we have 4 distinct separate areas to
give owners the choice of what will suit their
pet perfectly.
The Den Suites
This area has just 2 oversized kennels
with a touch of luxury both having cosy half
size beds and underfloor heating for the
colder times of the year. The inside area is
over 80sq ft with the outside patio's
having 100 sq feet of space for your pet to
relax and exercise in. Click

The Snug
As the name suggests, this cosy but roomy area
houses just 3 kennels all have underfloor
heating with large outside patio's. It's
especially suitable for those pets who are
perhaps a little nervous or of a quiter nature
and would prefer being away from the larger
dogs. Click

The Barn
There are just 2 kennels here totally separate
from the main kennels with huge outdoor runs.
In fact one of them comfortably housed no less
than 6 Labrador's from the same family

The Main Kennels
The main kennels are large and spacious both
inside and outside runs with some extra large
sized units for dogs sharing from the same
family. Several kennels have underfloor
heating, the others have individual heat lamps
for the colder nights. There is a choice of
off the floor beds or of using traditional dog
baskets whichever is the most suitable for
your pet.
Whichever area of our
kennels you would prefer your pet to stay in,
we always treat your family pet as an
individual and offer a caring, friendly, home
from home atmosphere, please have a look
around our kennels.
Our professional
grooming
service can give your dog a treat while
you're away and make them feel like they have
had a holiday too!
Time is always
precious, getting ready for that trip away is
a rush so we have a collection and delivery
service available to save your time and
convenience. This is a free
service within a 5 mile radius of the kennels.
We also have a shop
offering a range of pet
foods and supplies at competitive prices
that can be ordered in bulk. We can deliver if
required to the local area.
